Every inch of me
is strange
I can hear him saying
Eventually, everyone's body
crumbles and when I lay in bed
and think of us at the end of the world
I realize my father would not like you
which makes me like you more and makes
me feel less inclined to sleep around and
makes me feel less inclined to throw things
less inclined to keep my shoes when the sickness
comes and we all are on this floating coffin wondering
where everything went wrong
Let's go reset the reactor before the King wakes up
I like your fingertips on my arms and I await the feeling
of your breath on the back of my neck
